How long does it take to complete a website?
It can take up to 3-4 weeks to design a complete website, however this usually depends on how responsive a client when we ask for feedback and/or content.
Do I need to provide my website own content or will you provide it for me?
The client is 100% responsible for providing all content for the website, such as photos and text. If you need assistance, we can recommend you a third-party content writer or you can utilize generative AI powered tools such as ChatGPT.
What is SEO?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It is the necessary steps we take to ensure that your website is ready to be found on major search engines such as Google. We work with you every step of the way to ensure that the content you provide us to place in your new website is ready for Google to find it!
My website is not ranking on Google or other search engines. What can I do to fix this?

What is the difference between domain and hosting?
The domain is the actual address to your website (www.yourwebsitehere.com). A domain points to a website that is being hosted by a hosting provider (sometimes it can be the same company as your domain provider). Hosting is simply the space your website lives at, which the domain directs to. Examples of hosting companies include HostGator, GoDaddy, Bluehost, and 1&1 IONOS. Hosting companies provide both hosting and domain registration, but if you do not have to use one for both of them. It is recommended however, to use one for both as a way of maintaining simplicity and centralization.

Print is a dying medium. Do I really need print materials to market my business?
Some print materials are more important than others. For example, all business owners should have business cards; these are an absolute necessity! If you plan on doing any offline marketing, we recommend using brochures, flyers and postcards. These items can still be useful, especially at trade shows or on local bulletin boards. Sometimes, print materials serve other purposes than marketing. For example, if you own a restaurant you may need menus.
Does CDG charge hourly rates?
We only charge hourly rates (on top of the initial rates paid for the services you choose) if the client wishes to work with us to build out their website, perform any website-related work such as maintenance or work on other things such as social media or digital marketing. Our hourly rate is $50 per hour on weekdays and $75 per hour on weekends (if available).
